Date Administrator Settings
Date Administrator is an important feature to manage the data of existing records. This feature is used to provide higher level security of transactions performed during Voucher Entry.
Click on “Settings > Date Administrator” from the Software Menu Bar, the following options will be displayed:
Freeze Date
This feature is used for data security.
Freeze date is used to freezing data on specified date range so that no one can add, modify or delete the existing records. Once date has been freeze then you can only view the records of selected date range.
To freeze date, click on “Settings > Date Administrator > Freeze Date” from Software Menu Bar, the Freeze Date screen will be displayed which contains the following fields:
After selecting date range, click on Ok button to freeze the data.
Unfreeze Date
Unfreeze Date refers to unfreeze the freeze date.
To unfreeze date, click on “Settings > Date Administrator > Freeze Date”, the Unfreeze Date screen will be displayed which contains the following fields:
After selecting date range, click on Ok button to unfreeze the data.
Note-> This feature is applicable only when date is already freeze.
Current Date
Current Date is used to modify default date according to need.
To set current date, click on “Settings > Date Administrator > Current Date” from Software Menu Bar, the Current Date screen will be displayed which can be modified according to your need.
Click on Ok button to make the selected date as a current date. |
