Date Administrator Settings

Date Administrator Settings is an important software feature to manage the records on particular date and provides higher level security of transactions performed during Voucher Entry.

Click on “Settings > Date Administrator” from the Software Menu Bar, the following options will be displayed:

• Freeze Date

• Unfreeze Date

• Current Date

Freeze Date

Freeze date is an important feature which is used to freeze the data on specified date range so that no one can add, modify or delete the existing records. Once the date range has been freeze then you can only view the records of that specified date range.

To freeze the date, click on “Settings > Date Administrator > Freeze Date”, the Freeze Date screen will be displayed which contains the following fields:

• Date From: Select the date from when you want to freeze data.

• Date To: Select the date upto you want to freeze data.

After selecting date range, click on Ok button to freeze the data.

Unfreeze Date

Unfreeze Date refers to unfreeze the freeze date.

To unfreeze date, click on “Settings > Date Administrator > Unfreeze Date”, the Unfreeze Date screen will be displayed which contains the following fields:

• Date From: Select the initial date range from when you want to freeze the data.

• Date To: Select the date upto you want to freeze the data.

After selecting date range, click on Ok button to unfreeze the data.

Note-> This feature is applicable only when the date is already freeze.

Current Date

Current Date is used to make the date as a current date according to need.

To set current date, click on “Settings > Date Administrator > Current Date”, the Current Date screen will be displayed and you can modify the date according to your need.

Click on Ok button to make the selected date as a current date.
