USB Access Management Settings
USB Data Theft Protection Tool monitors the insertion and removal behavior of USB data drive in both real time and when network cable is removed. The administrator can block access of USB storage by changing USB access management settings on client machine. The client’s access to USB drive can be restricted through server in following ways:
- The USB device access on client machine can be set to enable or disable by administrator.
- The working mode of USB device for client machine can be either Readable/Writable both or Readable only.

Follow the given steps to get a quick start to the USB Activity Monitoring Software:
- Click on “Connect” Icon to connect it with the network.
- Once your system is connected with the network, the USB activity monitoring software will list all USB data storage devices names connected in the network as shown in the left panel of the figure.
- Network Monitor will contain the information of all the connected systems.
- USB Drive contains Domain Name along with the name of Server and Client machines.
- Server will include the names of all connected Client’s PCs.
- Finally the Activity Log icon is shown that provides the recorded details of any changes done by Administrator.
